What is the church like?

Calvary Tucson is a Bible-centered church where we believe that love is the greatest evidence of faith in Jesus Christ.  Our dress is casual, our worship is upbeat and contemporary, and our teachings are Bible-based, practical, and applicable to people of all religious backgrounds.  We encourage you to bring your Bible, as we teach verse by verse through the Bible.  We will be happy to lend you a Bible if you need.  If you do not have a Bible, please stop by our prayer room at the end of the service, and we will be happy to give you one.

Rest assured that visitors will not be singled out in the middle of service or made to feel uncomfortable in any way.

We have safe and secure children's classes for kids, Nursery - 5th grade.

Both locations also have a bookstore and coffee shop which are open before and after all services.

What is a service at Calvary like?

All services start with a time of worship, which lasts 20 to 25 minutes.  There will be a short greeting time, where you will have an opportunity to meet those around you.

Following the worship, we will have a teaching where we study verse by verse through the Bible.  Typically, Pastor Robert Furrow teaches, providing clear, practical application of God’s Word to our lives today. You won’t hear any strange doctrines, just Biblical truths. Our desire is that God touches your life during this time.

CDs and DVDs of the day's teaching are available for purchase in the bookstores after each service.

Pastor Robert's teachings are available online.  You may also follow Pastor Robert through Practical Christian Living, our radio and television ministry.  Click here to listen to past studies online.

Where do I take my children?

When you enter the church, greeters will be happy to direct you to the appropriate classrooms. We have facilities and programs for children, Nursery - 5th Grade.

We ask that children under the age of eight attend our Children's Program rather than the main service. We are dedicated to providing a teaching environment free of distractions so that you may focus on hearing the Word of God and what He has for you.  It is difficult for a young child to sit still for 30 minutes during a teaching, therefore we provide classes with activities and teaching geared toward their energy and learning level.

We also have nursing and cry-rooms at each location where you can stay with your child and watch the service if you prefer.

Do you have something for teenagers?

Junior and Senior High students are welcome to join in with our student ministries at both campuses.

East campus: Saturday and Wednesdays at 6:00pm in the east campus family sanctuary.
West campus: Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 9:10am and 11:30am in the west campus youth room.
