Yadeth Garcia

Children's Ministry Director - East Campus

To find Yadeth simply walk through the doors of the East Campus Children’s Ministry building. It is there that anyone can easily find her greeting parents or busy preparing for annual events such as Vacation Bible School, Resurrection Celebration and Daddy Daughter Date Nights.

Born in Mexico and brought up in the United States from the age of ten, Yadeth learned self-sacrifice, perseverance, work ethic, and loyalty from her Catholic parents who brought her to church every Sunday. The summer before her sophomore year in high school, tragedy struck when a drunk driver hit her car. The impact was devastating, killing her father, brother and sister. Her mother survived, while Yadeth spent three months in a wheelchair recovering from serious injuries. In the wake of this disaster, God was weaving a plan for Yadeth with a whole and beautiful life.

After moving to Tucson in 1995, Yadeth met and married Randy Garcia, a born-again Christian man. After attending a concert at Calvary Tucson on March 26, 1996, Yadeth met and committed her life to Jesus, not a religion or a church, but Jesus her Savior, and the hope for my life. She was determined to know the God who gave His life to save hers. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus is the answer.

After serving for over 10 years in the Children’s Ministry in almost every capacity, Yadeth joined the staff at Calvary Tucson as the East Campus Director under the leadership of Fred Felix, the Children’s Pastor. She is constantly finding ways to creatively present the Gospel to children and show them the light and joy found only in Christ. She loves being able to serve her husband Randy and their three children, Myleth, Lilici, and Randy. No matter the difficulty, Yadeth is constant in her love, joy, and dedication to her Savior.

I am the way, the truth, and Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
