Catherine Swearingen

Principal of Calvary Chapel Christian School

Mrs. Swearingen is married to Randy Swearingen and has 3 children and 9 grandchildren. She earned her Master of Science in Education and has been the principal at Calvary Christian School since it opened in 2005. She has chosen to be a part of Christian Education for thirty-nine years. Raised in a Christian home, she came to trust in Jesus at the age of 9, but at the age of 16 she “fell in love” with Jesus. Her desire has been to follow the leading of the Spirit in all areas of her life. She has a passion for allowing the Spirit to create space for children to encounter Jesus while they are learning. Her verse for this year is Ephesians 3:17, 20 “I also pray that love may be the ground into which you sink your roots and on which you have your foundation. Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power, he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine”

I also pray that love may be the ground into which you sink your roots and on which you have your foundation. Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power, he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.
