The Reception

Sundays at 9:35am next to the West Campus 24/7 Youth Room

The Reception is a ministry dedicated to reaching the hearts of those with special needs with the heart of Christ. We desire to provide support and encouragement to families and caregivers of those with special needs in an atmosphere of love and safety.

The Reception strives to recognize and encourage individual strengths and abilities while presenting and modeling biblical truths. Using communicative devices such as Big Macks, Picture Boards and Talkers, we follow a routine of fellowship, worship, modified Bible studies, scripture memorization, prayer and praise.

All ages are WELCOME at The Reception, if you or someone you know lives with special needs, please feel free to visit our class, and be blessed.

If you have a heart to serve in this ministry please complete a Level 1 Ministry Application for assisting a teacher and a Level 3 Ministry Application if you feel called to teach. If you have any questions concerning this ministry, please contact the church office at 573-9933 and leave a message, and Beth La Joy will return your call.

It is our prayer that we will have a Reception class at each service on both campuses. It is also our prayer to equip and train Sunday School teachers in receiving children with special needs into their own classrooms.
