Mike was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Tucson in 1975 when he was 11 years old. He was raised in a Christian home, but did not make a commitment to Jesus Christ until he reached his teen years. His best friend, Wendell Scott, invited Mike to Glad Tidings Assembly of God when he was 15 years old. It was there that Mike made a real decision to serve Christ.

Mike worked at Home Depot for 13 years before joining the Calvary staff in 1999. He is the editor/producer for Pastor Robert's Practical Christian Living radio program.

Mike and his beautiful wife, Laura, have three sons, Johnny, Michael and Daniel. They've also been blessed with four grandchildren.

Mike is an avid fisherman!
