Eric Souza

Eric Souza - Assistant Pastor

Eric was born in Sierra Vista, Arizona to Michael and Carmen Souza. Due to biblical reasons they later divorced. Carmen met her present husband, Fred Felix, who took Eric as his own son and raised him in a Christian family.

Eric attended Calvary Chapel Hereford until he was ten years old. During that time he also attended Calvary Christian School in Hereford.

At the age of ten, Eric and his family moved to Tucson and immediately started attending Calvary Tucson. Eric attended Desert Christian School, where he went through some spiritual challenges, but ultimately the Lord worked in his life and became very real to Eric by his sophomore year.

After graduating from Desert Christian High School, Eric attended the University of Arizona where he earned a BA in History.

He currently serves as an assistant pastor where he oversees the New Believers Ministry as well as the Identity Junior High Youth Ministry on Calvary Tucson's East Campus.

In December of 2009, Eric and his beautiful wife Betsy were blessed with their first child, Isabelle Grace.

Eric enjoys fishing and golfing. He is overwhelmed at how the Lord has blessed him with an amazing wife and daughter, and amazing friends who love the Lord and encourage him daily.
