Dan was raised in the suburbs of Chicago where he and his family attended a small Baptist church. His parents had a rough marriage, in part because his dad was religious, but didn’t have a real relationship with Christ. For years, Dan struggled with God as a father figure because his dad stressed rules over having a relationship with Christ.

 

The process of God showing himself as a loving God has not always been easy, but through the power of God’s word, Dan came to see God clearly working in his life, and the lives of those around him. As he has grown, Dan has witnessed God’s hand of loving patience and kindness more and more in his life. Through this, he now realizes that God is big enough to overcome anything, and he praises Him for that!

 

Dan joined the Calvary Tucson staff in September of 2009.  He is the youth pastor for the East Campus and serves as the bookstore manager for both campuses, as well as the Solid Ground Coffee Shop at east campus.

 

He has a wonderful wife, Shannon, and three beautiful children, Jaiden, Rylan and Aynsley.
