Introduction- Jesus dictated seven letters to the messengers of first century churches. Five churches were rebuked by Him. Only two were faithful in every area. Though the original recipients of these letters have long passed on, the content of these letters resonate in our 21st century. If Jesus were to again write letters to His churches, what would He say about us? How would His audit of our health as His body fare? "Rise Above" is the theme for our 2012 Conference. We are committed to studying each of these churches, to taking an honest look at where we are at. It is about making changes where necessary. It is about encouraging those who are remaining faithful. It is about rising above the status quo, about setting our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. We each have a calling. We all have a race to run. Our heart is to encourage leaders of today's church to stand firm, to preach the word, to love righteousness, to rise above to the level God calls His children to live at, that we might be effective for His eternal kingdom.
